Covering an area of 60000sqm, the site of sacrifice constructions (also called the ruins of De Yang Palace) is the important ruin in the mausoleum. The plane layout of the building is in the shape of “double circles” with double corridors. Its regular shape and large scale can rival the ritual buildings in Chang’an city. It is the best conserved intact site of mausoleum temple ever discovered. To protect the ruins we refill the original ruins and a replica is built above it surrounded by trees. Visitors can experience the grandeur of the ancestral construction while the ruins are fully preserved.
